A Life in Landscape

A Life in Landscape, a collection of short articles, is one woman's story of a passion for wilderness despite growing up in the landscape of a suburban backyard. Her art background and innate sense of wonder at nature's beauty led her to paint and write about it. After studying art, she learned to really see rocks, rivers, mountains and meadows, traveled to distant places to hike and sketch, and self-published this book as well as Art Education and Eco Awareness, a curriculum for K to 12. A former professor, distinguished painter, and recipient of fellowships and awards, she has taught art and education at all levels, exhibited in many galleries, and is a member of Fig Tree Gallery, Fresno.
